Una narraci贸n griega cuenta que el Dios Zeus dej贸 caer sobre la tierra su l铆quido vital, y de all铆 surgi贸 un ser hermafrodita a quien luego le despojaron de su zona 铆ntima, pero cuando sus 贸rganos cayeron al suelo se convirtieron en el 谩rbol de almendro. Desde ese momento las almendras han estado asociadas al poder de la PROCREACION.
Tambi茅n se cree que las flores de almendro significan el amor que supera todo, incluso la muerte, o que son un consuelo para aquellas personas a quien amamos. En s铆la flor del almendro significa LA VIDA ETERNA.
